Tree Sanctuary is a mature tree nursery based north of Cape Town on the Contermans Kloof farm. The brief was to develop a simple, clear and memorable mark and brand communication that would be easy to use across all applications.

The result was a simple seedling held in the support of a circle. This reflects the basis of Tree Sanctuary as a company, which is to grow strong healthy trees for market.

Reinventing rural industry and commerce is a struggle of the modern age with the mass migration of peoples into the cities, and rural lifestyles deteriorating, it is good to see younger people taking on this challenge and looking at new ways to develop markets in rural and semi-rural areas.
